The Pantanal is one of the greatest natural heritage sites of humanity by UNESCO, it is the largest floodplain in the world, its area covers 250,000 km². Therefore, 80% of its area is located in Brazil, between the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
The smallest biome in terms of territorial extension in Brazil, this ecosystem maintains a good part of its native vegetation cover with a rich biodiversity. We can find more than 3,500 species of plants, 124 species of mammals, 656 species of birds, 98 reptiles and 325 species of fish.
The main cities that comprise the Pantanal of Mato Grosso do Sul are Aquidauana (MS), Corumbá (MS), Miranda (MS) and Porto Murtinho (MS). Since they have good hotel, gastronomic and cultural infrastructure.

Serra do Amolar
The Serra do Amolador, located in the municipality of Corumbá, is the most isolated region in the Pantanal and one of the most important conservation areas in the entire Pantanal plain, in addition to being the only region in the Pantanal that is always full of water.
